宫崎滔天(1871—1922) ，本名寅藏(又名虎藏) ，号滔天，以号名世。出生于日本熊本县玉名郡荒尾村。为明治大正年间的日本浪人和大亚洲主义者。他早年曾受到三股时代思潮的影响：一为日本明治以来兴起的自由民权主义，二为基督教博爱主义，三为欧美的社会主义。一生以解放亚洲民族、消除种族压迫、建立自由平等、博爱的大同世界为己任。自1897年起，与孙中山结为生死之交，倾力支持中国近代民主革命事业，至死不渝。为中日两国民间友好的典范。著有《三十三年之梦》《清国革命军谈》《支那革命物语》《幽囚录》等多种回忆录和史传，对研究近代中日关系及近代中国政治运动史，均有重要的参考价值。
